At Bedrock Granite Sales we pride ourselves on the quality of our products.
>From building stone to landscape products: All of our stone is quarried in the
Pacific Northwest. Our five quarries are:

Granite:

Hardy Island Granite Quarry is the largest producing granite quarry in the Pacific Northwest. Hardy Island Granite is a mid -gray, salt & pepper coloured granite. It has exceptionally well developed splitting grains which allows for an economical production of high quality split face & sawn products.

Andesite:

Haddington Island Andesite is grey to buff in colour. It is considered by many to be B.C's finest building stone. It is easily profiled and carved. Some of B.C.'s landmark buildings were faced in andesite-the Vancouver Hotel and Victoria's Parliament Buildings.

Whistler Basalt:

Whistler Basalt is a volcanic rock found in the hills near Whistler,BC. It's all weathered columns naturally fit into any landscape. The charcoal inside mixed with the weathered outside make Whistler Basalt a truly unique building stone.

Rhyolite:

Rhyolite is an all weathered volcanic rock that comes in columns or ready to use building stone. Its attractive brown, beige, taupe and charcoal blends give it an old rustic look. Rhyolite will help any project fit in with the natural environment.

Newcastle Sandstone:

Newcastle Sandstone is the only sandstone quarry in the Pacific Northwest. The quarry has been operating since the early 1900's and its durability has proven the test of time. Newcastle Sandstone colour tones range from gray to tan to rust.
